The ‘ii’ in the URL represents humans. Because they are all equal, they share the same symbol.
I believe that if you ask someone something directly, they won’t tell you what they really think. But if they are anonymous, they will finally say what they really think. On the other hand, if someone is anonymous, you can never verify if they are actually telling the truth or if they are just lying to you.
This is why I do not understand why we invent things to make ourselves look better than others, or why we use rules that are unequal.
Like religion:
In Islam, women have to wear the headscarf, but men don’t. And some people see this inequality as right, or as something that highlights women. But why don’t men get highlighted as well?
And some people even do circumcision. In this case, I have to ask:
Do they even love their children?”
Like equality:
Everyone claims to support it, yet in media and society, we only seem to help women.
Why ‘women’s rights’ instead of ‘human rights’? Why create this distinction?
Why not help all victims? Women and men?
Then there’s the idea that women are the ‘weaker sex.’ But when someone attacks you with a knife, does the attacker’s gender matter?
Violence against women is horrific. Violence against men is horrific too. So why do newspapers treat violence against women as the ultimate tragedy, while violence against men seems as a normal
like lgbtqai+:
I do not care who you love or what your sexual orientation is (as long as no children are involved).
But regarding gender identity, I struggle with the core argument of ‘feeling like a woman/a man.’
Doesn’t this phrase indirectly reinforce traditional gender roles?
If someone transition because they feel they fit a specific gender’s stereotype, aren’t they just reinforcing those stereotypes?
Why don’t we abolish the lines between ‘male’ and ‘female’ activities?
Why can’t we simply accept that men can be emotional and cry, while women can be tough and pragmatic, instead of altering our bodies?
Furthermore, medical transition is dangerous. It involves literally undergoing irreversible operations on your own body, and then you have to take medication for the rest of your life just to approximate a biological standard you can never truly achieve.
like politics:
We listen to politicians who promise one thing but do the exact opposite.
We are told to believe in democracy, yet we completely ignore the overwhelming power of lobbying?
We pretend that our conspiracy theories aren’t real, while ignoring the existence of the Bilderberg Group and the fact that real power often operates in the shadows?
Why do we condemn insider trading and market manipulation, while politicians and lobbyists constantly exploit these very systems for their own gain with total impunity?
